For being such a bright attraction this angel sure does like to hide. The Yellow Angelfish loves to stay hidden away and doesn’t like other aggressive fish, as it loves to bite back. A little more on the aggressive side the Yellow looks a lot like the Lemonpeel Angelfish but one solid color.
Most of this angel though is ok with reef, which isn’t usually the case, however still the same issues with coral where they will nip at soft coral, clams and polyps. Not a huge fish clocking in around 4” so a tank at least 70 gallons is the way to go.
Common food is algae and meaty foods like mysis or frozen shrimp and can stop eating coral with a normal full diet.
