The Banggai Cardinalfish known as Kaudern’s Cardinal or Longfin Cardinalfish, are very popular in the aquarium world as they tend to be easy to take care of. It has a silver body with black vertical stripes on its body and white polka dots on its black fins. Being only maximum 3” they should be able to adapt to most small tanks around 20 gallons or larger and love reef and rocks to hide in. They can be kept with other Cardinalfish if you have a larger tank. They can be harder to feed in the beginning but once acclimated to your tank they can be greedy eaters. Once acclimated to your tank they will eat flake food but in the beginning you might have to entice them with frozen or live fish food such as brine or mysis shrimp.
