Blue Watchman Goby is also known as the Blackfinned Shrimp Goby or the Bluespotted Watchman Goby. It is slightly bigger and more aggressive than most Gobies. They grow to around 5.5 inches and have two color phases. In one phase they will have an orange body with blue spots on the head, black spots on the tail and red bands around the body. In another phase they will have a light brown or olive body with blue spots all over its body. Keep it in a 20 gallon tank or larger with coral rubble, sand, and plenty of swimming space. They can become very territorial and should not be kept with another Blue Watchman Goby unless they are a mated pair. Also watch out for this fish for because it will jump out of your tank if you don’t have a tight fit lid. They should be fed a minimum of three times a day and will feed on Mysis, brine and table shrimp.
