The Tessalata Eel, also known as the Honeycomb Moray Eel or Leopard Eel, is an extremely beautifully patterned eel. Light colored with dark honeycomb spots all over its body to hide itself deep within rocks and darker waters. Keep them in a 125-gallon tank or larger with a tight lid, sandy bottom and plenty places to hid. They are not reef compatible and will eat smaller fish and for sure any crustacean it can get its large jaw around. Their diet should consist of live feeder shrimp in the beginning and with time you can begin feeding frozen krill, shrimp and other meaty foods.
