Anglers or Frogfish are small stocky hidden fish living in and around rocks of the deep. They are covered in full camouflage and spines as to avoid being eaten or unseen when hunting for food. Their diet consists of fish only. Be careful when adding them to your tank because they will eat any fish they can fit in their mouth. Triggers and Wrasses can cause harm to the angler and should not be kept in the same tank. Most can change various colors depending on their surrounding while other species can use wild tactics such as inflating and other forms of mimicry to hunt and hide. Some can even grow to around 9” if properly taken care of but again they are slightly aggressive so be careful when adding them to your tank.
