The Yellow Sea Cucumber is a little bright yellow spiky cucumber. It has a long body with spiky projections all over. Keep them in a tank that has high to medium water flow and live rock for them to feed on. One Yellow Sea Cucumber can split into two when it is either really healthy or really sick. Like other Sea Cucumbers this one will secrete a poison that will harm fish and coral in your tank. This is unlikely to happen and usually will only happen if the cucumber is sucked into a pump intake. Never add copper to your tank because it is very sensitive to copper. They feed by pulling food from the water that gets stuck to the spikes running along its body. The food is moved along its body to its mouth where it is ingested. Its diet should consist of any form of phytoplankton and should be fed every day.
