Sea Slugs or Nudibranchs are soft-bodied mollusks that can be seen crawling around your tank. They come in very bright colors and many different shapes. They are not aggressive and should only be kept in a peaceful tank. When adding them to your reef tank be careful because not a lot of information is known about the diet of most sea slugs. Most of them eat a specific sponge, which is why their life span is usually only one year. Most Slugs have gills that are visible on the outside of there bodies.

Some slugs can be poisonous and should only be handled by expert aquarists.
