Snails are a great addition to any reef or fish only tank. They play an important role in cleaning the tank of any algae, waste, decay, and worms. They are hardy fish and can do well in any tank that provides them with their preferred food source. Most snails are nocturnal and will only be on the hunt at night.

They will need plenty of rock, caves and crevices to search for food and some will prefer to find food in a sand bed. Most snails are Omnivores and will find any left over food in the tank but you can always supplement their diet by wrapping seaweed around a rock, adding calcium, Mysis shrimp, brine shrimp or other meaty foods.
