The Red Linckia Sea Star also known as the Comet Red Sea Star, or Red Sea Star is an incredibly bright fish beaming with a deep red-orange coloration. Keep them in a well-established tank that has plenty of live rock covered in algae for it to eat. They are reef compatible and should be kept with peaceful fish. Never keep hermit crabs, parasitic snails, or aggressive fish that can harm them in the same tank. Starfish are very picky when it comes to water parameters and will need to be drip line acclimated to your tank. Sudden changing in oxygen, salinity, and ph can greatly affect the starfish. High levels of nitrate and copper in your tank can be harmful to the Starfish but you can add other trace elements to keep them happy. You can supplement their diet with small pieces of meat or tablets that can be placed under them but will mainly only eat the algae and sponge growing in your tank.
