The Blue Jaw Triggerfish is also known as The Blue Throat Triggerfish or Blue Chin Triggerfish.
They are grayish-brown, covered with light-blue spots and their fines are lined yellow. The male has a darker blue area on its chin where the female does not. They should be kept in a 125-gallon or larger tank that has rocks and caves for the Blue Jaw Triggerfish to wedge itself in when it sleeps. It won’t eat coral or anemones but may go after invertebrates like shrimp, clams and snails. Only keep one male in a tank at a time but you can keep it with female Blue Jaw Triggers. They need a variety of meaty foods like squid, krill, clams, and hard shelled shrimp to help wear down their growing teeth.
