The Blue lined Triggerfish is also known as the Blue-and-Gold Triggerfish, Blue Triggerfish, Rippled Triggerfish, or Yellow spotted Triggerfish.
The Blue Lined Trigger is an extravagantly bright fish. It has a bright blue and yellow rippled effect over the entire body and bright green eyes. Should be kept in a tank that is 150 gallons or larger with rocks and caves. This trigger like many others will rearrange your rocks to its liking and will stir up the sand due to its constantly looking for invertebrates. This is an aggressive fish and not reef compatible. It is known to nip at the fins of less aggressive fish. Should be kept with aggressive fish that are able to defend themselves. They need a variety of meaty foods like squid, krill, clams, and hard shelled shrimp to help wear down their growing teeth.
