The Christmas Wrasse also known as the Ornate Wrasse is green with red stripes and checkered markings.

The Christmas Wrasse is a very active wrasse and requires a 50-gallon or larger tank with a tight fit lid. The tank should also have 2-3 inches of sandy bottom for the wrasse to hid or sleep in.

If you cant find the wrasse for a few days more than likely it will be buried in the sand. They are peaceful wrasses and will be compatible with other peaceful fish. They will feed on fire worms, snails and other invertebrates. Included in its diet 2-3 times a day should be brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, and other meaty foods as well as marine flake and pellet food.
