The Bar Goby is also known as the Diagonal Bar Prawn Goby. It is a creamy white fish with a few brown stripes along its body and blue and brown spotted fins. Its elongated body can reach around 3 inches, which allows it to hide in little caves in your tank. The Bar Goby is a very peaceful fish and should be kept with other peaceful fish. If you plan on adding more than one to your tank be sure to add them at the same time. They can be added to a small tank that is 10-gallons or larger with sand and live rock. They are reef compatible and easy to care for. The Bar Goby tends to stay on the bottom of the tank sifting through the sand, which helps oxygenate it. The Bar Goby builds little sand caves and usually finds a good spot that it doesn’t venture out from often besides for food. Speaking of food it should be fed at least once a day and prefers fresh or frozen chopped seafood and mysis shrimp.
