Don’t be fooled by their small size if need be they will defend their territory against fish up to 2 to 3 times their size. For this reason they are considered semi aggressive and should be kept in a 30 gallon tank or larger with other semi aggressive fish. They wont do well in a peaceful tank and will likely harass the other fish. They will do well with tangs, damsels, angelfish, and other large fish. Rock formation and caves will be where you can find this fish hiding out. They are very low maintenance fish.
As far as their diet, they will eat just about anything you put in the tank. You can feed them brine shrimp, Mysis shrimp, krill, squid, pellets, flake food and any other fish food.
