The Bursa Triggerfish is also known as the Black Patch Triggerfish or Blackbelly Triggerfish.
It has a face that is half white and half yellow with a thin-lined moustache and a colorful eye mask. On it’s body it has a large black circle. The Bursa Trigger should be kept in a 75 gallon tank or larger with rocks and caves. They will rearrange your landscape and rocks. The Bursa Triggers are highly aggressive and should be kept with other aggressive fish. Bursa Triggers are hardy fish with strong jaws and may chew through items in your aquarium. Like other Triggerfish they are not reef safe and will eat most invertebrates. They need a variety of meaty foods like squid, krill, clams, and hard shelled shrimp to help wear down their growing teeth.
