The Clown Tang is also known as the Clown Surgeonfish, Lined Surgeonfish, or Blue-banded Surgeonfish.
They have a bright yellow to orange body with horizontal blue striping and large spines. The Clown Tang should be kept in a 125 gallon tank or larger with plenty of space to swim and live rock to feed on. They are harder fish to care for and need very clean, oxygenated water. They are reef compatible and very peaceful with most fish except other tangs and similar looking fish. They are herbivores and will mainly eat algae. They are constantly eating because they have an extremely long digestive tract. A tank with algae will be a good home for them, which is great because they will keep your algae under control. They will also eat seaweed, meaty foods you feed other fish and frozen food suited for herbivore and omnivores.
