One of the most popular of the Dwarf Angelfish, the Dusky Angel aka Coral Beauty Angelfish is an absolute delight. Resembling the much larger Bluegirdled Angel in color it’s perfect small size lets it be way easier to take care of. They have a deep royal blue body and head with orange to yellow highlights.

Maxing out at around 4” and not losing any coloration the Coral Beauty makes great partners with many different saltwater fish around the same size. It does have a habit of nipping on some corals, reef and especially the slime layer on clams. It loves plenty of places to hide and swim in so try and layer a good amount of rocks within its habitat.

As an added bonus Beauty’s love rock algae and will eat flake and veggie food. Known as a beginners Angel this is perfect for someone starting at least with a 55-gallon tank though they prefer around 70 or more.
