The name suggests that something is false about this angel and its correct to assume it. This remarkable trickster uses the exact same look as the Lemonpeel Angelfish but without any of the blue markings.
What it makes up for in deceit is the fact that it might be the best algae collector in the tank you can get. It doesn’t need too much space and can be kept in an 80-gallon tank or larger with plenty of caves to hid in and live rock to graze for algae.
The only real danger it possesses is being added after an aggressive angel or something aggressive in nature. They don’t do well with corals and will be seen eating stony corals, sessile invertebrates, and clams. Their diet consists of algae, mysis or brine shrimp, and other meaty food. Overall the False Lemonpeel Angelfish is a great addition to any moderate tank owner.
