The Koran Angelfish aka the Semicircle Angelfish is an incredible personable fish. While the juvenile is partially a little standoffish when it’s fully-grown it comes into itself but that also means it becomes King of the Tank.
The Juvenile Koran will be black with blue and white stripes. The Adult will be more of a yellowish green color that is lighter towards the head and darkens, as you get closer to the tail. They body is speckled and has a bright blue line outlining the fins and tail. It’s juvenile state keeps it under 4” but its explodes in a short time after that up to 10” long.
Judging from this it’s safe to assume you will need a very large tank ranging from 150 to 250 gallons or larger. They are known to bully other fish and should be kept with similar aggressive fish and best to add them last because they are territorial.
They don’t do well with corals and can be seen eating corals and clams. In a well-established tank they will eat algae growing on the rocks as well as feedings of mysis or brine shrimp and other meaty food.
