The Randall’s Anthias like other anthias will very in coloration from male to female. The male will be pink/red and the female will be the same with a yellow nose and tail. A single Randall’s Anthias can be added to a 50 gallon tank or larger but a small school with only one male should be kept in a 125 gallon tank or larger with plenty of live rock, places to hid from the light in your tank and plenty of open space for swimming because they are very active fish. They usually stick around the bottom of the tank but like to dart off and hide behind and in rocks. They can be kept in a reef or fish only tank with other peaceful fish. They should be fed 2-3 times a day with a variety of food including mysis or brine shrimp, flake food, and they will eat copepods and amphipods growing in your tank.
