The Six Bar Angelfish is also known as the Six Banded Angel or the Six Striped Angel. Like the name implies this fish has six vertical stripes on its body. It has five vertical, dark brown stripes and one white stripe by its eye.
The Six Bar Angelfish is a large fish and will need to be kept in a 150 gallon tank or larger with live rock and plenty places to hid. They are aggressive and should not be kept with other Angelfish. They don’t do well with corals and can be seen eating corals and clams.
Feeding it will take some effort, as it likes variety when it comes to its diet. It should be fed 2-3 times a day and will eat mysis or brine shrimp, seaweed, squid, sponge and other meaty food.
