The Snowflake Eel is also known as the Snowflake Moray Eel, Clouded Moray, or Starry Moray. They are a very popular eel and are easier to care for then most eels. Its body is black white and brown and is covered with blotches and patch stripes. Keep it in a 30 gallon tank or larger with a tight fit lid and plenty places to hid. While semi-aggressive it won’t mess with anyone bigger than it and can be housed with most invertebrates including corals, anemone but no crustaceans. It is nocturnal and will prey on its food at night. Their diet should consist of live feeder shrimp in the beginning and with time you can begin feeding frozen krill, shrimp and other meaty foods.
