Threadfin Butterfly also known as The Auriga Butterflyfish is a super popular fish and is easily available. It’s mix of white and yellow body with black strip near the face and spot on the tail make it a great addition to any tank. As it gets older it will grow a trailing filament from it dorsal fin. It should be kept in an 80 gallon tank or larger with plenty places for them to hide because they are very shy fish. They will be a great fish to help rid your tank of any aiptasia. Corals and reef are not recommended as this fish, like all Butterflyfish will likely eat and destroy it. They prefer to eat plankton, all types of flake food, and other vegetable based food.
