The Zebra Moray Eel is a very popular and docile eel and when acclimated to a tank it can become the most relaxed thing around. It’s a zebra stripped eel, hence the name, with black and white stripes over its brown or red body. Keep them in a 60-gallon tank or larger with plenty places for them to fit in and hide their entire long body. They fit right in with most community tanks and will get along with pretty much anything in your tank except crustaceans. Unlike other eels you can find this one swimming during the day or night. Their diet should consist of live feeder shrimp in the beginning and with time you can begin feeding frozen krill, shrimp and other meaty foods.
