The Sea Cucumber is known for its elongated leathery body and is commonly found on the sea floor worldwide. It’s usually brown or a tan color with some sort of tentacle on one end that it uses to sift through sand. It’s body is protected by an exoskeleton and underneath that its tissue protecting that. They are peaceful creatures and will do well with other peaceful fish and invertebrates. Never add copper to your tank because it is very sensitive to copper. Fish that are known to pick on feather dusters will also pick at the Sea Apple. When the Sea Apple becomes stressed it can secret a poison that will kill everything in your tank. Its diet should consist of any form of phytoplankton and should be fed every day.
